Church Transformation Vision and Mission
What is Congregational Transformation?
Congregational Transformation is a ministry designed to help churches either maintain or regain their focus of inviting people to remember what church is all about. This is done through 3 year process which includes targeted seminars and training opportunities. The church and the pastor have access to a consultant and coach.
What is the Congregational Transformation Process?
- Every Church will fill out the Transformation Congregational Survey.
- The survey should be completed and returned per the instructions with the survey.
- The results will be summarized and reported to the Annual Conference
- Cabinet will select churches to invite to participate in the process.
- Church accepts or declines invitation.
- For those entering the process of transformation:
- This is a 3 year process
- Church leadership enters into a covenant commitment
- Clergy and laity will participate in targeted seminars and training opportunities
- The church makes an financial investment, on a sliding scale (avg. is $1000/year)
- Church and pastor have access to consultant and coach
- Churches no participating may choose to enter in 3 years with the 2nd round of Congregational Transformation begins.
